Then, during the day Friday, west winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. WHERE...Portions of east central, south central, and southeast Wisconsin. WHEN...From midnight Thursday Night to 6 PM CDT Friday. IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Higher uncertainty in the overnight winds, but if they occur may be even stronger than the winds during the day Friday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

WHAT...For the Gale Watch, southerly winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt Thursday night becoming westerly 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt on Friday along with waves 8 to 12 ft. WHERE...Nearshore Waters from Sheboygan to Winthrop Harbor IL. WHEN...From Thursday evening through late Friday night. IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.
