IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water overflows low-lying banks in Wedron and Sheridan. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 11.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM CDT Saturday was 12.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain near flood stage, around 12.0 feet, through Sunday morning and then will slowly fall to around 10 feet early next week. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Lower parking lot at Starved Rock State Park is inundated east of La Salle. High water levels begin to impact shipping interests along the river. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 21.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM CDT Saturday was 21.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.4 feet early Monday morning.
