WHERE...A portion of northwest Arkansas, including the following counties, Benton and Washington AR. WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT. IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 147 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fayetteville... Springdale... Rogers... Bentonville... Lowell... Farmington... WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties, Benton, Crawford, Sebastian and Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Adair, Cherokee, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, McIntosh, Muskogee, Pittsburg, Pushmataha and Sequoyah. WHEN...Until 9 AM CDT Saturday. IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread showers and thunderstorms will move slowly southward across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas late tonight through early Saturday morning.
