WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, south winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected into this evening, shifting to northwest tonight. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 23 possible. WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, northeast, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Mississippi. WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until noon CDT today. For the Freeze Watch, from this evening through Tuesday morning. IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
