...LOW WATER LEVELS EXPECTED ALONG THE NORTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA AND SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA COAST MONDAY NIGHT... Abnormally low water levels are expected tonight around low tide, between 11 PM and 3 AM EDT. Strong offshore winds combined with astronomically low tides will lead to water levels falling to one to one and a half feet below MLLW. Low water levels can lead to difficult navigation and stronger currents in tidal creeks and waterways.
