...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SUNDAY EVENING... WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour. WHEN...Until Sunday evening. IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Extensive lowland flooding affecting agricultural lands. Many county and state roads in flood plain become impassable by high water, including SR 235 East of Medora, SR 258 East of Cortland, CR 725 N and possibly SR 39 south of Tampico. High water affects county roads near Vallonia and Shields, Ewing Road near Brownstown, CR 525 N near Seymour wastewater treatment plant, Honeytown Road and possibly SR 250 east of Dudleytown and SR 256 west of Austin. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 16.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM EDT Friday was 16.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Sunday morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... East Fork White River at Shoals. East Fork White River near Bedford. East Fork White River near Rivervale. East Fork White River at Williams. East Fork White River at Seymour. .Minor flooding continues on the East Fork White River with Shoals on the East Fork White expected to fall from moderate to minor flood stage later this afternoon. The river levels at all locations are falling with flooding expected to last into early or the middle part of next week for portions of the East Fork White. The next accumulating precipitation is forecast to start Sunday afternoon and night. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/ind. The next statement should be issued late tonight by around 315 AM EDT.
