WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon. IMPACTS...At 6.5 feet, Water is starting to approach foundations on Waldron Lake Dr, Woodland Drive, and the south end of Steinbarger Lake Rd. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM EDT Monday the stage was 6.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 PM EDT Monday was 6.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Sunday morning and continue falling to 5.8 feet Monday, March 23. - Flood stage is 6.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Ohio... Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville affecting De Kalb, Allen IN and Defiance Counties. Tiffin River at Stryker affecting Williams, Fulton OH and Defiance Counties. North Branch Elkhart River at Cosperville affecting Noble County. .Rises on area rivers occurred as a result of recent heavy rainfall from severe thunderstorms. All of these locations aside from Cosperville have crested and are receding. For the Saint Joseph River Ohio...including Newville...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Tiffin River...including Stryker...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Elkhart River...including Cosperville...Minor flooding is forecast. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
