...TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM CDT FOR NORTHWESTERN SEVIER AND EAST CENTRAL MCCURTAIN COUNTIES... At 1253 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located 15 miles northeast of Broken Bow, or 16 miles northwest of De Queen, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Gillham. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building away from windows. BOWIE...WESTERN SEVIER...MCCURTAIN...NORTHERN MORRIS...NORTHEASTERN TITUS...NORTHWESTERN CASS AND SOUTHEASTERN RED RIVER COUNTIES UNTIL 130 AM CDT... At 1229 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 26 miles northwest of Broken Bow to near Wilkerson, or extending from 45 miles west of De Queen to 12 miles east of Hagansport, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include...
