...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING... WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Fairfield, Fayette, Hocking and Pickaway. In south central Ohio, Highland and Ross. In southwest Ohio, Clinton. In west central Ohio, Greene. WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT. IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 450 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Lancaster, Chillicothe, Washington Court House, Circleville, Wilmington, Logan, Hillsboro, Greenfield, Blanchester, Nelsonville, Ashville, Baltimore, Sabina, South Bloomfield, Lynchburg, Bremen, Leesburg, New Vienna, Kingston and Williamsport.
