...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Michigan... Maple River at Maple Rapids affecting Clinton County. .Another round of heavy rain fell across much of West-Central Lower Michigan. Rain totals of 1.0 - 1.5 inches occurred in parts of the Grand and Maple River basins, while 1.5 - 2.0 fell across the Muskegon River basin. As this water moves through the river systems, minor flooding is expected over the coming days. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
