...A WIND SHIFT ASSOCIATED WITH A PASSING COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS THIS EVENING... The areas affected include... Waters from South Santee River to Edisto Beach out 40 NM... Charleston Harbor... At 559 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a wind shift, with winds shifting south to west northwest, capable of producing gusts up to 40 knots. This wind shift was located along a line from 13 miles north of Saint Stephen to 16 miles southeast of Folly Field, moving east at 35 mph. Locations impacted include... Mount Pleasant, Edisto Beach, Fort Sumter, James Island, Daniel Island, Downtown Charleston, Isle Of Palms and Folly Beach. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
