Saint Joseph River Michigan at Three Rivers affecting Branch, St. Joseph MI and Elkhart Counties. .Thunderstorms will move across the region overnight and bring widespread rainfall. This rainfall will cause rivers to rise. The Tiffin River at Stryker, and Saint Joseph River Michigan at Three Rivers are forecast to go into minor flood stage Wednesday afternoon. For the Tiffin River...including Stryker...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Saint Joseph River Michigan...including Three Rivers, Mottville, Elkhart IN, South Bend, Niles...Minor flooding is forecast. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
