WHEN...Until 1000 PM EDT Saturday. IMPACTS...Due to an ice jam, water and ice is extending over a roadway resulting in a closed road. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1129 PM EDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the advisory area due to an ice jam along the Hudson River. A portion of River Road in Thurman was closed due to water and ice over the roadway. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Thurman and Warrensburg. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
