...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT MONDAY... ...FREEZE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING... WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, southerly winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected into this evening. Wind will become northwesterly and maintain the same intensity tonight and Monday. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 23 are possible. WHERE...Portions of southeast Arkansas, northeast Louisiana, and central, north central, northwest, and west central Mississippi. WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 7 PM CDT Monday. For the Freeze Watch, from Monday evening through Tuesday morning. IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
