At 1101 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Louisburg to near La Cygne to near Mound City, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Harrisonville, Paola, Osawatomie, Louisburg, Butler, Adrian, Rich Hill, Pleasanton, La Cygne, Mound City, Archie, Drexel, Linn Valley, Freeman, Hume, Parker, Blue Mound, Prescott, Fontana, and Lake Annette. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 118 and 164. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Northwestern Cass County in west central Missouri... Southwestern Jackson County in west central Missouri... Until 230 AM CDT. At 958 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
