WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Colorado, including Greeley, the Denver metro, Palmer Divide, and the eastern plains. WHEN...Until 3 PM MDT this afternoon. IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. Blowing dust could reduce visibility to less than a mile in places. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

NORTHEASTERN PARK...SOUTHEASTERN CLEAR CREEK...JEFFERSON...WESTERN ARAPAHOE...SOUTHWESTERN WELD...SOUTHEASTERN BOULDER...EASTERN GILPIN...WESTERN ADAMS...NORTHEASTERN DOUGLAS AND BROOMFIELD COUNTIES UNTIL 245 AM MDT... At 157 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a snow squall along a line from 7 miles southwest of Leader to near White Ranch Open Space, or along a line from 35 miles southwest of Fort Morgan to 22 miles west of Denver, moving south at 30 mph. Locations impacted include... Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Thornton, Arvada, Westminster, Centennial, Boulder, Broomfield, Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, Commerce City, Parker, Littleton, Northglenn, Brighton, Englewood and Wheat Ridge. Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in this snow squall. Interstate 25, Interstate 70, C470 and E470. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
