...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of east central Kerr, northern Blanco, eastern Gillespie, southwestern Llano and northwestern Kendall Counties through 400 AM CDT... At 320 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Comfort, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Fredericksburg, Comfort, Johnson City, Stonewall, Blowout, Rocky Hill, Rocky Creek, Hye, Blumenthal, Center Point, Waring, Crabapple, Albert, Grapetown, Flugrath, Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, Luckenbach, Cain City, Sandy, and Old Tunnel State Park. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding.
