Description

Hazardous winter conditions are expected. Locations: northern New Brunswick. Total snow and ice pellet accumulation: 15 to 25 cm. Freezing rain duration: 3 to 6 hours. Total freezing rain amounts: up to 5 mm. Time span: noon Wednesday until noon Thursday. Remarks: Several hours of snow are expected before precipitation eventually transitions to ice pellets overnight, then to several hours of freezing rain early Thursday morning. All areas are expected to change to rain through the late morning hours Thursday. ### Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate. Winter Storm Warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather (such as snow, freezing rain, wind and rain) are expected or occurring.
