IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Flood stage at Williams. Bottomlands are beginning to flood. Stumphole road...South Chase Riffle Road and possibly other rural county roads in Western Lawrence County flood. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 7.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Wabash River at Mount Carmel. .Flooding continues on lower portions of the Wabash, White, and East Fork White rivers in central and southern Indiana as a result of excessive rainfall. Flooding remains confined on the Wabash to the Mount Carmel area and is expected to continue until next weekend. Flooding on the White River is expected to last as long as March 25 at Hazleton. Flooding on the East Fork White River should conclude by the middle of this week. Bankfull conditions are expected otherwise from Rivervale to Williams through midweek. Negligible precipitation is predicted to fall over the next seven days, allowing the rivers to continue to fall, with only a minor bump from Sunday evening's rainfall. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges, dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream, even a small one, on foot. WHEN...Until early Wednesday afternoon. IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, A few local county roads begin to flood and are impassable. These include Buddha Road south of the gage and Lawrenceport Road. All local roads across the East Fork White River are threatened by high water, and some are closed. Flooding of agricultural lands in Lawrence County is in progress. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 22.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 PM EDT Sunday was 22.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
