At 700 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Simonton to Rosenberg to 7 miles northwest of Pierce. Movement was southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
