...Airport Weather Warning for DFW Airport... .HAZARD(S)... Wind gusts greater or equal to 35 knots until 1100 PM CDT. .ONSET TIME... 130 PM CDT .PEAK WIND GUST AND DIRECTION... North-northwest (340-350) with peak gusts to 40-45 KTS .OTHER REMARKS... Wind gusts will start off closer to 35-40 KT, but will increase to 40-45 KT closer to 2 PM. There is a 10% chance for wind gusts up to 50 KT this afternoon and evening, but this would be very sporadic. 40-45 KT gusts will persist on and off until around 11 PM / 12 AM, before decreasing back down closer to 30-35 KT for several hours overnight. .CONFIDENCE... High Low confidence implies a less than 50% chance of occurrence; Medium confidence implies a 50% to 80% chance of occurrence; High confidence implies a greater than 80% chance of occurrence

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT MONDAY... ...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 9 AM CDT MONDAY... WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, north winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25 expected. WHERE...Most of North and East Texas. WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 1 AM CDT Monday. For the Freeze Warning, from 4 AM to 9 AM CDT Monday. IMPACTS...Unsecured outdoor items may be blown around in the wind. Driving on area roadways may become difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Small tree limbs could break and cause damage. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of at least 20 to 30 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Boaters should use extra caution when venturing onto area lakes.
