WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, south winds 25 to 30 knots with gusts up to 40 knots and waves 2 to 5 feet. For the Gale Warning, west winds 25 to 35 knots with gusts up to 45 knots and waves 7 to 12 feet expected. WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Vermilion to Conneaut OH. WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 8 AM EDT this morning. For the Gale Warning, from 8 AM this morning to 8 AM EDT Tuesday. IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for hazardous conditions.

WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected this morning, shifting southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph this afternoon. WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania. WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening. IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will shift southwest behind a cold front by this afternoon and remain gusty into tonight. Portions of the Wind Advisory may need to be extended into tonight. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
