WHAT...For the High Wind Warning, northwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 22 below expected. WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Iowa and east central and northeast Nebraska. WHEN...For the High Wind Warning, from 7 AM Sunday to 1 AM CDT Monday. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 1 AM to 10 AM CDT Monday. IMPACTS...Damaging winds may blow down a few trees and power lines. Isolated power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Delay travel if possible. If you must travel, use caution on the roads. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution while traveling outside.
