Description

Wintry weather is expected tonight into Monday. Locations: eastern Newfoundland. Total snowfall: 5 to 10 cm. Total rainfall: 5 mm, with locally higher amounts possible. Remarks: Snow will develop this evening then transition through ice pellets and freezing rain to rain late overnight or early Monday morning as temperatures rise. Snow and ice accumulations may make travel slow or hazardous. Rain and melting snow can result in pooling of water. Roads and walkways may become slippery and difficult to navigate.
