For the Small Craft Advisory, northwest winds to 30 kt and significant waves to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft expected. WHERE...Northerly Island to Calumet Harbor, IL. WHEN...From 10 AM Wednesday to 4 AM CDT Thursday. IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... WHEN...Through late tonight. IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms with rainfall rates up to 1 to 2 inches per hour will be possible from late this afternoon until late this evening.
