...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR MOST OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS... WINDS...North 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent. IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will be capable of spreading rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Obey all local burn restrictions and burn bans. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now...or will shortly. A combination of strong winds and low relative humidity will create explosive fire growth potential.

For the Small Craft Advisory, north winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt and rough bay waters. WHERE...Galveston Bay. WHEN...For the Low Water Advisory, until 4 AM CDT Tuesday. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 1 AM CDT Tuesday. IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Below normal water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels are currently near -2.0ft MLLW across portions of the bay. Mariners should navigate with caution to allow for winds and water levels to improve. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
