IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High temperatures this week will be 20 to 30 degrees above normal for this time of year. Record breaking heat is likely. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
