IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, River Road north of CR 150 W in Greene County is flooded. Low agricultural fields flood. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to a crest of 19.5 feet Friday evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Illinois... White River at Edwardsport. White River at Elliston. White River at Hazleton. White River at Petersburg. Wabash River at Mount Carmel. .Minor to moderate flooding continues on the White River and minor flooding continues on the lower Wabash at Mount Carmel. Additional rainfall of half an inch to 1.25 inches from this morning through Friday morning was included in the forecast. The initial crest on the White is at Petersburg, but an additional lower crest is expected to start working its way down the river Thursday and bring minor flooding back to Elliston by Thursday evening. The crest on the Wabash should reach Mount Carmel on Sunday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/ind.
