...A line of strong thunderstorms will affect Coastal waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS out 20 NM... Mississippi Sound... North Mobile Bay... South Mobile Bay... Until 445 AM CDT.... At 359 AM CDT...A line of strong thunderstorms was located along a line extending from Gaillard Island to Dauphin Island Bridge...moving east at 20 knots. Locations impacted include... Gaillard Island, East Fowl River Bridge, Sand Island Lighthouse, Bon Secour Bay, Middle Bay Light, Heron Bay, Point Clear, Weeks Bay, Fairhope Pier, and Gulf Shores Beach. The primary threats from these storms are wind gusts up to 30 knots...locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these storms have passed.
