THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED TORNADO WATCH 42 TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AREAS UNTIL 5 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON IN WEST VIRGINIA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA TAYLOR IN NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA BARBOUR HARRISON LEWIS RANDOLPH UPSHUR THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BELINGTON, BRIDGEPORT, BUCKHANNON, CLARKSBURG, ELKINS, GRAFTON, PHILIPPI, AND WESTON.

...GUSTY WINDS THIS AFTERNOON... Gusty winds of 35 to 40 mph are expected this afternoon, with isolated gusts in excess of 45 mph possible. Higher wind gusts could occur within thunderstorms. These gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Use extra caution when driving this afternoon, especially if operating a high profile vehicle.
