AFFECTED AREA...Pointe Coupee, West Feliciana, East Feliciana, St. Helena, Washington, Iberville, West Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge, Assumption, St. James, St. John The Baptist, Upper Lafourche, St. Charles, Upper Terrebonne, Lower Terrebonne, Lower Lafourche, Wilkinson, Amite, Pike, Northern Tangipahoa, Walthall, Southeast St. Tammany, Northern St. Tammany, Southwestern St. Tammany, Central Tangipahoa, Lower Tangipahoa, Northern Livingston, Southern Livingston, Western Ascension and Eastern Ascension. WINDS...Northwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 25 percent. IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.

WHAT...For the Gale Warning, northwest winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 7 to 12 ft expected. For the Small Craft Advisory, north winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and seas 7 to 10 ft expected. WHERE...All coastal waters of southeastern Louisiana and Mississippi. WHEN...For the Gale Warning, though 7 PM CDT this evening. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 7 AM CDT Tuesday. IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
