WHEN...Until 9 AM CST Sunday. IMPACTS...Low visibility will make navigation difficult. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Greatest risk of dense fog will be in the lower part of Galveston Bay and in the nearshore waters. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use your radar and compass.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 AM CDT SUNDAY... WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following county, Harris. WHEN...Until 330 AM CDT. IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1131 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Galena Park, Jacinto City, Cloverleaf, Channelview, Highlands, Barrett, Greater Fifth Ward, Second Ward, Crosby, Hunterwood, Sheldon, Northshore, El Dorado / Oates Prairie, northern Houston Ship Channel, East Houston, Settegast, Pleasantville Area, Clinton Park Tri-Community, Houston Gardens and Denver Harbor / Port Houston. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
