WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, southeast winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and seas 5 to 8 ft. For the Gale Warning, south winds 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 6 to 9 ft expected. WHERE...Coastal Waters from Cape Charles Light to Virginia- North Carolina border out to 20 nm and Coastal waters from NC VA border to Currituck Beach Light NC out 20 nm. WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 1 PM EDT Monday. For the Gale Warning, from 1 PM Monday to 1 AM EDT Tuesday. IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds in and around severe storms could gust up to 50 kt or greater during the afternoon and evening. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
