...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM CDT SUNDAY... WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 3 and 5 inches and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. WHERE...South Aitkin and Carlton and South St. Louis Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Mille Lacs Band, East Lake area and the Fond du Lac Band. WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 AM CDT Sunday. IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The majority of ice accumulations will be Friday evening and Friday night.
