IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding in progress. County Road 725 N near Rockford floods. Indiana 258 east of Cortland may flood. On December 8 2014 about an inch of water flowed over Reddington Street near the East Fork White River Bridge as the river crested. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 14.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM EDT Tuesday was 16.6 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow morning to 11.4 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to 14.4 feet early Thursday afternoon. It will fall to 13.7 feet Friday morning. It will then rise to 14.5 feet Saturday morning. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... East Fork White River at Shoals. East Fork White River near Bedford. East Fork White River near Rivervale. East Fork White River at Williams. East Fork White River at Seymour. .Minor to moderate flooding continues on the East Fork White after the significant rainfall last week. Additional rainfall of 0.75 to 1.5 inches today through Wednesday night was included in the forecast. The crest on the East Fork is near Williams, with the stage at Shoals expected to begin falling Friday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/ind.
