Winds gusting as high as 50 mph will produce blowing and drifting snow. WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region. WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 2 PM EDT Saturday. IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday evening commute. Gusty winds will down tree branches and cause isolated power outages. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 9.86 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.1 feet on 03/29/2021. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Ontario from Sodus Bay to the Saint Lawrence River. WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 5 AM EDT early this morning.
