...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM CDT WEDNESDAY... WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Oklahoma, including the following counties, in east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc. In southeast Oklahoma, Hughes. WHEN...Until 230 AM CDT. IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1117 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ada, Wetumka, Allen, Stonewall, Dustin, Calvin, Lamar, Horntown and Atwood. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
