Description

Rain, heavy at times is expected. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall. Locations: southern New Brunswick. Total rainfall: 40 to 60 mm, with locally higher amounts possible. Time span: Monday afternoon until Tuesday afternoon. Remarks: Two heavier pulses of rain are expected, with a break possible in the overnight hours on Tuesday morning. Very mild temperatures will result in rapid melting of the remaining snowpack. Localized flooding may occur in areas with poor drainage. Ensure storm drains and gutters are clear of ice and debris to reduce localized flooding. ### Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times. Rain at times heavy and strong southerly winds are expected, starting on Monday. Locations: most of southern and central New Brunswick.. Total rainfall: 20 to 40 mm, except 40 to 60 mm or more near the Fundy coast. Potential wind gusts: 60 km/h except up to 90 km/h over exposed areas. Time span: beginning Monday afternoon and ending Tuesday afternoon. Remarks: Two heavier pulses of rain are expected, with a break in the rain possible in the overnight hours early Tuesday morning. Very mild temperatures will result in rapid melting of the remaining snowpack.
