SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Warren, Troy, Southfield, Pontiac, Sterling Heights, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Rochester, and Detroit Zoo around 610 PM EDT. Clinton Township around 620 PM EDT. WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following areas, Bay, Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Midland, Oakland, Saginaw, Sanilac, Shiawassee, St. Clair, Tuscola, Washtenaw and Wayne. WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight. IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - 1 to 3 inches of rain fell this morning across southeast Michigan, leading to rises in area rivers and reports of minor flooding. A second round of rain is expected this afternoon and evening, with potential for additional amounts to reach or exceed one inch. Luna Pier around 550 PM EDT. Bolles Harbor Of Refuge, Monroe Harbor, North Cape, Woodland Beach, and Detroit Beach around 555 PM EDT.
