Strong winds that may cause damage are expected. What: Westerly gusts of 70 to 90 km/h. When: This evening. Where: Metro Vancouver - Central, North Shore, and Northeast, and southern sections of the Sunshine Coast including Sechelt and Gibsons. Additional information: A sharp, fast moving cold front crossing the South Coast will bring very strong wind gusts of 70 to 80 km/h this evening. Through this period, there will be a risk of isolated wind gusts upwards of 90 km/h. Winds are expected to ease after midnight. ### Local utility outages are possible.
