WHERE...The following counties, in southeast Indiana, Dearborn, Franklin and Ripley. WHEN...Until 200 PM EST Thursday. IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 736 AM EST, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible through this afternoon. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Batesville, Brookville, Osgood, Oldenburg, Sunman, St. Leon, Napoleon, Cedar Grove, Mount Carmel, Interstate 74 at State Route 101, Penntown, Lawrenceville, Saint Peter, Huntersville, Ballstown, New Trenton, Sharptown, Rockdale and Otter Village. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
