Additional snow and sleet accumulations between 2 and 6 inches and ice accumulations up to two tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. WHERE...Emmet County. WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Monday. IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
