Higher amounts up to 17 inches possible in the higher terrain of the Keweenaw. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. WHERE...Keweenaw and Northern Houghton Counties. WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 2 PM EDT Friday. IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Isolated power outages are possible due to strong winds. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Prepare for possible power outages.

IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
