Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches, highest across northwestern portions of the advisory area. Ice accumulations up to a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. WHERE...La Salle, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake IL, and Northern Cook Counties. WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT Monday. IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. Blowing snow will cause sharply reduced visibilities, particularly in open areas. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
