Total snow and sleet accumulations up to half an inch, and ice accumulations around a light glaze. WHERE...Portions of Coastal DownEast, Interior DownEast, and Penobscot Valley Maine WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 10 AM EDT Friday. IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning commute. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions for Maine can be obtained by going to newengland511.org. Be prepared for slippery roads.
