...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO FRIDAY EVENING... WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. WHERE...Wolf River at New London. WHEN...From late tonight to Friday evening. IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Flooding affects occur downstream of New London. Several inches of floodwaters surround sheds and garages in lowland areas along Wolf River Drive in Fremont. There is widespread lowland flooding downstream of New London. At 9.5 feet, Up to a foot of water is surrounding structures along West River Drive in Fremont. Several inches of floodwater begins to cover portions of Burton Road near Pheifer Park. Water is approaching portions of West Wolf Avenue near New London. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 9.3 feet early Monday morning. It will then slowly fall below flood stage through early Friday morning. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.3 feet on 04/30/1994. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
