...PERIODS OF SNOW THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON... Rain has changed over to mainly snow across the northern Neck and the lower Maryland eastern shore, and will change over in Accomack shortly. Cameras are showing a light accumulation of snow, mainly on grassy surfaces, with temperatures in the lower to middle 30s. The precipitation is expected to come to and before 6 PM west of the Bay, and around 6 PM across the lower eastern shore. Snow will continue for the next 1-2 hours, with around 1 inch of snow likely on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will mostly stay wet, a light slushy accumulation is possible on secondary and rural roadways, and bridges/overpasses.
