WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, visibility less than one mile in dense fog. For the Wind Advisory, south winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York. WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 11 AM EDT this morning. For the Wind Advisory, from 2 PM this afternoon to 4 AM EDT Tuesday. IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce visibility to less than 1 NM. For the Gale Warning, south winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and waves 3 to 6 feet. WHERE...New York Harbor, including Raritan Bay and Sandy Hook Bay. WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 2 PM EDT this afternoon. For the Gale Warning, until 6 AM EDT Tuesday. IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Low visibility will make navigation difficult. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for hazardous conditions.
