...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT MONDAY... WHAT...Blizzard conditions, especially overnight into Monday morning. Additional snow accumulations between 8 and 10 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. WHERE...Manitowoc and Kewaunee Counties. WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Monday. IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. Strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be a lull in the heavy snow through this evening. During the lull, expect periods of light snow mixed with freezing drizzle. Strong winds will still produce significant blowing and drifting snow in open areas. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. WHAT...For the Gale Warning, northeast winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and waves 9 to 14 ft. For the Storm Warning, north winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 50 kt and waves 8 to 15 ft expected. WHERE...Lake Michigan nearshore waters from Washington Island to Sheboygan. WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 7 PM CDT this evening. For the Storm Warning, from 7 PM this evening to 3 PM CDT Monday. IMPACTS...Storm force winds and hazardous waves will capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
