IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flood stage, lowland flooding of farm areas along Tonawanda Creek between Rapids and the Tonawanda Indian Reservation. Flooding may impact Fletcher, Burdick, Kelkenberg, and Tonawanda Creek Roads. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 11.49 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 13.7 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.7 feet on 04/04/1959. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
